First period today completed SRI (Reading) testing in the computer lab. We also had a Storm Drill at 9:15 this morning. So our already short classes were a little shorter! We went over the literary terms test. If you did not make an 80% or higher on the test, you will be retaking it on Friday. You have the terms written down and they are also on this blog. You will receive a handout tomorrow to help you study the words. EVERYONE will make at least an 80% on this test. It's most important to me that they know the words so that we can discuss them easily throughout the year.
You are to read p. 12 - 15 in the Lit. book and write the 8 strategies on p. 12 in your composition notebook. Also include a brief definition of each strategy. We will use these strategies all year. Be familiar with them!
