We had to deal with some nasty smelling tar and smoke as they were working on the roof today. I wouldn't be surprised if the kids have headaches when they get home! We went over the study packet for those kids that need to retake the literary terms test. They were to write the words they had missed on the front and complete the activities. If they bring it back with them tomorrow, they need only be tested on the words they missed. Otherwise, they will have to take the whole test. The students who made 80% or above will not be taking a test tomorrow.
We looked at the 8 reading strategies and practiced using a couple of them as we read on page 13 - 14. We will continue with this tomorrow as time allows. With the retest, we may run out of time! See you all tomorrow!
