It's good to be back at school today and see so many of the kids who were out sick back at it! This is going to be a crazy week, so bear with me if I don't get anything posted later! We are supposed to be packed up and ready to move by Friday - including computers - and the construction crew will move us over Spring Break. Friday is also the last day of the quarter and grades will need to be turned in. I am checking response logs for books read during second and third quarter. Remember - the requirement is three books per quarter.
Today we began a packet for the poems in our literature book. Students are responsible for reading p. 598, 600, 601, 606 and 608 and completing pages 69 - 92 in the packet for tomorrow. The short answers are to be written on a separate sheet of paper and handed in. We will grade the remainder together in class.
Don't forget about the PTA fundraiser for bedding plants!!! It is a great way to "kill two birds with one stone" by not only getting your spring plants, but helping Cherokee out with funding for various items not covered by budgets (which is a lot!!!) I, for one, am very appreciative of all that PTSA provides for our school.
