Today was the first day students were to have a library book and their composition notebook with them. There were WAY too many that didn't have what they needed! At the same time, I congratulate those who had their books with them - WAY TO GO!!! Remember to have it with you tomorrow as well.

We set up our composition books (reading logs) today so it was pretty easy. No homework. The set up is as follows:
Name and Period on front cover
Number all pages - front and back - in upper outside corner of each page
Page 1 - On the top line write "Books Read First Qtr" and "Date" - Number the first three lines
Page 2 - On the top line write "Books Read Second Qtr" and "Date" - Number the first three lines
Page 3 - "Books Read Third Qtr" "Date" Number the first three lines
Page 4 - "Books Read Fourth Qtr" "Date" Number the first three lines
Page 5 - Labe the top line "Books to Read"
Page 6 - Leave blank
Page 7 - On the first line write "Title" and the title of the book you are reading, on the second line write "Author" and the author of the book, and on the third line write "p.______ to p. _____ Total: __________" It will look like this:

P. _______to P. ________ Total:

Bring Lit. book to class tomorrow!
