"Attitude is the mind's paintbrush." Attitude is the character ed. word for the month and quite suitable for this time of the year. A good attitude towards the required activities can make all the difference in the world - for everybody!!
We listened to Act One, Scene 1 and part of Scene 2 of "The Diary of Anne Frank" today. Students were to have completed the first page, "What impact will you have on the world?" for me to check today. As we listened to the play, students answered the questions on page 2 and 6, and if they did not get finished will need to complete this at home. We also looked at the Star of David symbol and tried to come up with some other symbols that people use to identify groups, religions and races of people. I will be checking pages 2,5, and 6 from the Anne Frank Folder tomorrow.
Hopefully, everyone did well on the spelling test! I will try to get them graded and back by tomorrow.
