Hopefully everyone turned in their essay today. I can't wait to read them. I will be more lenient on this one than future ones, but I will still hold them accountable for putting it in the fomat I gave them.
We talked about point of view and discussed the question: What brings a character to life? They had a note-taking page that we completed together in class as we read pages 162-163 and learned what first person, third person limited and third person omniscient meant. We will continue our discussion of characterization tomorrow.
Students will have a spelling test tomorrow - don't forget to study!
I will be gone Thursday and Friday, so I will not be able to blog. I will be back on Monday. Have a great weekend!
