Almost forgot to blog today! Sorry about that! We went over response logs for the rest of the quarter. I gave everyone a yellow sheet to glue onto page 13 of their composition notebook that has the topics for each week that they are to write about. Don't forget to turn your notebook in on your designated day each week!
I gave everyone a multiple intelligences inventory and will share their results with them tomorrow. This will give them (and me!) insight into how they learn best.
We had a discussion on the question, "What is worth the effort?" This ties into the story we are going to be reading, "Raymond's Run." We also looked at the stages of plot and will be identifying these in the story: exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.
No homework tonight!
